Drivers will be operating out of the Concord FedEx Terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in surrounding areas. You would be responsible for loading and unloading packages from trucks as well as using a scanner and keeping accurate records. You would have a GPS technology system that will provide turn-by-turn directions to assist you in locating delivery addresses. We operate 7 days a week most drivers work 5 days per week (full-time employees work at least one weekend day), but we also have flexibility with schedules.
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST:
Be customer-friendly and have a professional manner.
Be 21 years of age or older.
Have 1 year of verifiable commercial driving exp. in the last 3 years or 5 years of commercial driving experience in the last 10 years. Driving experience could include driving vehicles such as a commercial cargo van, pizza delivery, box truck, bus, etc.
Pass a background check
Pass a Dot physical
Pass a drug test
CDL is NOT required
Our starting pay is $145 a day, increasing to $150 after 90 days ($100 for training days) plus you are eligible to earn $1 a stop for delivered packages in excess of 95 a day. We also offer a monthly bonus for safety and performance. In addition, to pay, we offer a full benefits package (including health, dental vision, and life insurance) to full-time team members after 60 days.
