Safety is built into the details—and sometimes, it means going the extra step. 🦺

Our Las Vegas team gave us a closer look at a few of the practices that are part of keeping equipment and operations safe, including an added step they take when moving trailers across the yard: securing trailer doors before the trailer leaves the dock.

Trailer doors can shake or drift open while equipment is moving through a yard, creating the potential for damage or an incident. Taking the extra time to secure them helps reduce that risk before the trailer ever starts moving.

It’s a good reminder that safety isn’t one big action. It’s a series of intentional decisions, checks and extra steps that help protect our people, our equipment and the operations we support. ✅

Last week, our TCI team headed to Reno for Tesla’s Semi Rollout event—and got an inside look at what’s ahead for electric Class 8 transportation. ⚡🚛

Our team toured the facility, saw the Tesla Semi production process firsthand and had the opportunity to experience the Semi out on the road.

It’s especially exciting as we continue expanding our own experience with electric transportation. Today, TCI has multiple Tesla Semis in service, 80 battery-electric Class 7 and 8 vehicles and approximately 50 electric yard tractors, supported by a growing charging infrastructure.

Visits like this help our team stay close to the technology, better understand where it can make sense operationally and bring that knowledge back to the fleets and customers we support.

We’re proud of our partnership with Tesla and excited to keep exploring what’s next for the transportation industry.

A truck in the shop unexpectedly costs more than the repair bill. It can mean missed deliveries, schedule changes, driver downtime and added pressure across the operation.

That’s why preventative maintenance is more than a schedule—it’s a strategy for protecting uptime, safety and overall fleet performance. 🔧

In our latest article, TCI team members across maintenance, safety and compliance share their perspectives on why a proactive approach matters—and how fleets can stay ahead of issues and keep equipment where it belongs: on the road.

There’s art in the moments we see every day. 🌙

For our latest Team TCI Photo Contest, we challenged our team members to capture their interpretation of “Work of Art”—finding a new perspective in the places and moments that are part of their everyday work.

This submission from Taylor Wolfley captures a TCI dock during the quiet of a graveyard shift—before the drivers arrive and the operation picks up again.

As Taylor shared:

“I can’t help but admire how quiet and simple the dock doors look in the dark, knowing that in a few hours, the drivers will arrive, and it will become a little chaotic and busy. But throughout it all, what a beautiful thing as a driver to keep America moving.”

A great reminder that sometimes a different perspective can make the familiar worth a second look.

Great shot, Taylor! 👏

⚡ Thinking about electrifying your fleet? The numbers may be more favorable than you think.

Eligible California businesses may qualify for funding covering up to 90% of eligible EV acquisition costs through CCFR and other available incentive programs.

TCI can help your fleet navigate the options—from identifying available funding and securing the right vehicles to leasing, maintenance, charging guidance and ongoing EV support.

Less capital out of pocket. More opportunity to move your fleet forward.

Funding is available now, but opportunities are limited. Learn how much your fleet could save: https://go.tcitransportation.com/4qNbEz7

There's a lot that happens behind the scenes to keep a fleet moving. 🚛

Drivers getting behind the wheel. Technicians keeping equipment safe and reliable. Dispatchers and operations teams coordinating the details. Safety professionals helping protect our people and our customers. Support teams making sure everyone has what they need to get the job done.

And through it all, there's plenty of communication, collaboration and problem-solving happening along the way. 💯

Transportation is a team effort. It takes people working together, adapting when plans change and stepping up when it matters to keep our customers' operations moving safely and reliably.

We're proud of the people behind TCI who make it happen every day.
