Wheat hay 2025 is a wrap, thank goodness! The month of May was just a blur, by the time it was dry enough to start cutting we had a short window to get everything cut before it was too mature so that meant being in the field what felt like 24 hours a day. The wheat hay this year had incredible yields though, the highest we’ve seen in many. We didn’t get many pictures during all the chaos, but we managed to snap a few! We were able to get every bit of the wheat hay baled without getting rained on despite the crazy weather this year, what a blessing. We are so thankful for our customers who keep us busy. Now it’s time to get started on grass hay, we are looking forward to seeing the yields on grass with how wet of a spring we’ve had. Give us a call! ☀️

We’re behind on sharing and haven’t taken many pictures this summer, but whew what a busy season we have had. It felt like we were going 24/7 there for a bit. This extreme heat and lack of rain has slowed things down in the hayfield though. We truly are thankful for all the work we have been blessed with! We currently have no personal hay for sale, but one of our customers has some grass hay that we baled for $70 per bale. C**t can get you in touch with him if you’re interested.

Wheat hay is finally wrapping up and we feel like after a lonnggggg 6 weeks we can breathe a little bit! We are so thankful for all the rain this spring, but it has made for a very difficult time getting wheat hay put up. We will finish baling on our last wheat hay job this evening and it looks like we will move right into grass hay. We are so blessed with our long time, faithful customers. Happy Labor Day! ☀️

We’ve wrapped up some more second cuts, new customers, and a field of milo stalks. Between the heat and lack of moisture, things are burning up quick. We are praying for rain and lots of it for our ponds and grass. We hope y’all have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!

We escaped the heat for a much needed vacation last week, but we were back in the hayfield a few hours after getting home! We finally wrapped up the last bit of Sudan. Now we’re working on some b-dahl and starting in on second cuttings. We are so thankful for all our customers keeping us busy! ☀️

It’s been a busy and HOT few weeks for us in the hayfield! We’ve been running in Cotton County doing some custom cutting while also running in Stephens County cutting/raking/baling. It has definitely been all hands on deck the last few weeks with how this grass hay has come on. Things are looking much better than last summer! We’ve still got a lot of hay to lay down in the next few weeks, but we’re so thankful for the continued support from friends and customers! Thank y’all! 🤩

It’s been a busy first week of hay season! One of us has been running in Cotton County while the other was running in Stephens County, so it’s been a full week for sure. The wheat hay is looking pretty good this year but we could sure use some rain. We’re so thankful for all our customers, new and old!

The warmer weather coming in means hay season will be here before we know it. It’s about time to start servicing hay equipment! I’m not sure if our new helper knows what’s in store for her this summer! 😁
