8.23 - 8.29 - Brake Safety Week:

In the trucking industry, this often results in an influx in the rates to the carriers. This is usually due to drivers either not running that week (to potentially avoid any disruptions of being put out of service) or drivers that do run during that week having leverage in rate negotiations due to supply/demand.
