Bettianne here. Today our Uncovered Secrets was the moonshine industry. Buford took us on a tour of the smoky mountains and we learned about the mountains and moon shiners. Then we had to stop at the Smoky Mountain moonshine company to taste what he was talking about. We had some free time in Gatlinburg and the weather was perfect for some retail therapy as we walked around town. Then went to the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show. Another great day. Resting up tonight for another fun day tomorrow. ❤️

Bettianne here. I am doing the Uncovered Secrets tour. We had a travel day yesterday and this morning started out in Oak Ridge Tenn. Learned about the Manhattan Project. It was the area that made the atomic bomb. Very secretive. I can't begin to tell you everything. One of those things you need to google. We then drove a short distance to Pigeon Forge Tenn where we are going to uncover some secrets from this area. But tonight we had a delicious dinner in the secret 3rd floor of the titanic. It was an interactive dinner where people from the Titanic were walking around and telling a story while you ate. Very well done. But the best part of today was the fact that I MADE IT TO MY FIRST BUCEES OF THE SEASON!!! I created some new buckaholics!! More secrets tomorrow. Talk to you then. ❤️

Come along with us to a place we have treasured for years... Starved Rock Lodge in Oglesby, Illinois!
