It Was Supposed to Be a Quick Call…

☎️I had what I thought was going to be a quick 20-minute call with my clients on Saturday morning.

⚡️They had already completed their Lightning Lane selections but wanted me to go over everything with them because they weren’t fully confident in the flow of how it all worked.

📝With the tip sheets I had already provided and a little walkthrough together, it actually went very smoothly.

🎙️But once we got talking, they had more questions—and that’s where the real value kicked in.

🚝🚠🛥️🚌We talked through detailed transportation routes from Point A to Point B across Walt Disney World resorts and parks, even though I had already sent them written step-by-step instructions. Sometimes hearing it out loud just helps it click.

🍿We also went over their dining plan and how to maximize it for their family.

🛌And then we dug into something really important for them: the morning routine with kids—how to get everyone up, fed, and out the door without starting the day stressed or starving.

📲That “quick” 20-minute call turned into 1 hour and 58 minutes.

And honestly? That’s normal.

✅Because travel planning isn’t just booking a resort and tickets. It’s answering the questions you don’t even know you’ll have yet, until you’re in the middle of planning.

📦You don’t get that kind of one-on-one support from a big box booking site.

You don’t get someone who knows your itinerary, your family, your concerns, and your pace—and takes the time to walk through it all with you.

By the time we hung up, my clients weren’t just booked.

They were ready.

🥞 Things I Did This Week That an Online Booking Site Couldn’t Do ✨

One of my clients had breakfast reservations at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. 🌺

Before their trip, I provided detailed transportation instructions and reminded them to allow plenty of time when traveling between Disney resorts.

Unfortunately, they got behind schedule and needed directions.

The Cast Member they spoke with had good intentions, but didn’t know one important detail: my clients did not have a park ticket that day.

They were directed toward a route that required entering Epcot. 🎟️

Without a park ticket, that wasn’t possible.

By the time they realized the problem, stress levels were rising, time was slipping away, and they were worried they would miss their reservation. 😬

So they called me. ☎️

By that point, they had already started putting together a Plan B after speaking with a few other Cast Members. I was able to help confirm the best route forward, provide the Disney Dining phone number so they could try to notify Disney of the delay, and help make sure they weren’t at risk of being charged for a missed reservation. 📱

Thankfully, they got moving in the right direction and arrived at ‘Ohana late—but the amazing Cast Members there were still able to accommodate them. 🌺✨

🥞 Breakfast was saved.

That’s the difference between a booking website and a travel advisor.

A booking website gives you a reservation confirmation.

A travel advisor gives you someone who already knows your itinerary, understands Disney transportation, and can help troubleshoot when things don’t go according to plan.

Sometimes my job is planning vacations. ✈️🏰

A Confirmation Number Can’t Reassure You at 10 PM. 💙

Last Saturday, one of my clients’ flights was delayed for hours. ⏰✈️

What was supposed to be an afternoon arrival in Orlando turned into a late-night arrival. 🌙

They had a rental car reserved and an overnight hotel stay before checking in to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort the next day. 🏝️

The problem?

They couldn’t get anyone at the rental car company on the phone and were starting to worry about what would happen if they arrived after hours. 📱😟

So they reached out to me.

Within minutes, we had a plan. ✅

I reassured them that flight delays happen every day and that rental car companies deal with situations like this all the time. Just in case, I also provided backup transportation options, addresses, directions, and step-by-step instructions so they knew exactly what to do if Plan A didn’t work. 🚗🗺️

Instead of spending their evening stressed and searching for answers, they were able to focus on getting to Orlando. ✈️

The next morning, I received a message letting me know everything worked out perfectly. 🎉

And that’s the part of being a travel advisor that no online booking site can provide.

Anyone can give you a confirmation number. 📄

But when travel plans don’t go as expected, it’s nice to have a real person in your corner—someone who answers the phone, helps you navigate the unexpected, and makes sure you’re never figuring it out alone. 💙

That’s what I do for my clients before, during, and after their vacation.

🎺 The West Branch Warrior Marching Band is marching into March 2027—and straight down Main Street, U.S.A.! 🏰💚🤍

I just finished booking a magical trip for a wonderful family who will be watching their children march right down Main Street, U.S.A. with the West Branch Warrior Marching Band and Young and Alive.

They’ll be staying at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort 🎶 and starting with 4-day park tickets, with the option to add Park Hopper tickets later if they decide they want a little more flexibility and extra fun along the way.

Mom and Grandma are especially excited for some sit-down dining experiences 🍽️, and while they’ll be cheering on their kids throughout the trip, they’re also looking forward to a little well-deserved adult time of their own. Dad may even be joining in on the fun as well!

It’s one of my favorite parts of these band trips—watching families come together for the performance on Main Street, U.S.A., and also helping them build in those special moments just for themselves too. ❤️

✨ New Client Magic in the Works! ✨

I just helped a wonderful family get their Walt Disney World vacation started for February 2027! 🏰

Mom and Dad are taking their two oldest girls for a magical getaway, and I’m so grateful they found me through social media and trusted me to help plan their trip. ❤️

One of their biggest questions was:

✨ Will you book our Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations?
✨ Will you help with dining reservations?
✨ Can you handle the details?

The answer is a big YES!

Their deposit is paid, and their stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is officially booked! 🌲🏰 It’s one of my favorite Disney resorts and the perfect place to come back to after a day in the parks.

Right now they have 4-day park tickets, and we’re still building out the details, but the countdown to the magic has officially begun! ✨
