Cola Town Bike Collective Columbia’s nonprofit bike shop - 711 Elmwood Ave. We fix/sell bikes, and provide 'em to those in need. Stop in! The Collective is located at 711 Elmwood Ave.

The Cola Town Bicycle Collective is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to empower people by providing affordable transportation to people who may not have any other alternative. We work with everyone from neighborhood kids, to those that are transitioning, to the working poor to ensure a way to get where they need to go. Additionally, we service the bikes we sell or donate to ensure that our clients can continue to count on the transportation we provide. Currently we work with over half a dozen non profits and charitable organizations to make sure that anyone that needs reliable transportation, has it available. We are open Monday - Friday from 10-3. 🚨🚲🅿️ New bike parking at City of West Columbia, SC’s Riverwalk Amphitheater entrance on Alexander! lets gooooooooooooo

good, high quality bike parking is one of the simplest and most cost effective ways to make biking more practical for people. These new racks make it easier to bike to a concert at the amphitheater, head out for a run or walk, have a picnic, or explore nearby businesses without worrying about where to leave your bike.

We've been working with WeCo staff to share ideas for bike parking locations using some of their racks they had in storage, and we really appreciate their collaboration. We're hopeful more are coming soon!

We've also been mapping bike parking across the Midlands, with more than 500 locations so far, alongside our in progress low stress bike map at cola.bike

It was a bad day on Saturday to be litter on the Vista Greenway! over 150lbs of trash picked up (including tires, wheels, and a very rotten office chair). We'd love to see you Saturday 10/3 or 11/7 for our final 2 before the end of the year! We are so thankful for our awesome volunteers and the CTBC community who believe in the Vista Greenway like us! REMINDER: TOMORROW! We're hosting our 1st of 3 Vista Greenway cleanups this fall! Meet at 9am at CTBC with clean-up starting at 9:30am- estimated duration of 2-2.5 hours

We'll start at CTBC, from the start of the Vista Greenway and go to Finlay Park. We will provide bags and grabbers. Please plan to bring your own gloves!

Our other 2 cleanups this fall will be on 10/3/26 and 11/7/26. Come out and join if you can!

The newest phase of Three Rivers Greenway (3RVRS) is open, connecting Saluda Shoals Park to the Lake Murray Dam!
We’re one step closer to a safe connection between Downtown Cola and Lake Murray. Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission has done a wonderful job bringing this project to life, with more to come!

Only two more phases to go before the greenway fully connects to the existing Saluda Riverwalk and, eventually, downtown Columbia!
