Good Morning Paddlers

Well it is the last day of the 2026 paddling season. Thank you for once again supporting our small business. We also want to thank our amazing staff, we appreciate their hard work and great attitude no mater how hot it is, through the rain and all sorts of other challenges.

It is a brisk start to the day but is actually supposed to be warmer today than yesterday.

Good Morning Paddlers,

We are open today, Saturday Oct 17. This is the last weekend of the paddling season. The weather decided to cool off today, so dress in layers. The sun will help warm things up. The water is still on the warm side because it hasn’t gotten super cold yet in the evenings. It should be a gorgeous today, some of the leaves are turning and the river is beautiful.

We will be closed for rentals tomorrow, Sunday Oct 11 to let the rain and river settle down. However, we will have our used boat sale from 12 pm until 3 pm.

Greetings Paddlers,

We will be closed Saturday Oct 10 due to the forecast for heavy rain and high winds from the Hurricane. We will make a final decision about Sunday, tomorrow but it looks unlikely as well

Next weekend is the last weekend of the season.

Our used boat sale starts tomorrow, Friday Oct 9 (5 pm to 6:30 pm).

Boats for sale:
- perception sounds 10.5 (sit inside kayak) - we have tan, blue camo and green camo - prices are from $325 to $375 depending on condition
- perception pescador pro 12s (premium sit on top kayak) - we have purple camo and green camo - $550 per boat and we have a repaired pro 12 for $250
- Liquid Logic Versa (premium sit on top kayak) - we have yellow and blue - $550 per boat
- assortment of touring kayaks that are great for lakes and big rivers
- used whitewater kayak.

Greetings Paddlers,

We are watching the gulf for a Hurricane forming that could impact our weather this weekend. Historically, the forecast for hurricanes can change quickly and significantly based on the storm’s strength, intensity and track. We will post an update Friday and will make a final decision Saturday morning by 7 am.

If you have a reservation don’t worry about the 24 hour cutoff to cancel and receive a refund we know this will be a last minute call. If you want to reschedule to the final weekend of the season you can do that from your customer portal or we are happy to assist with both rescheduling or receiving a refund.

Good Morning Paddlers,

We are open today, Sunday Oct 4. There may be some light showers this morning but then is supposed to clear. Our water level remains the same, low and slow but you can still paddle the whole route and we haven’t had any reports of having to drag.

We are not accepting anymore reservations for today.
