Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to recognize the stories, traditions and lasting impact of Hispanic and Latino communities.

Here in the Midlands, those contributions are part of the culture, businesses, families and neighborhoods that make our region what it is.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from !

One day without the car can make a difference. 🌎🚌

World Car-Free Day is today. A day encouraging people around the world to choose options like public transit, walking and biking for the day. Fewer cars on the road can mean less traffic, lower emissions and a healthier way to move through our communities.

Consider switching up your routine and this World Car-Free Day.

Everyone deserves a comfortable ride, and for some riders, that includes a service dog. 🐾

Service dogs are welcome on all COMET buses and can ride alongside the people who rely on them for assistance. If you see a working service dog on board, be sure to give them the space they need to do their job.

Sometimes the best part of the ride is having a few minutes to yourself.

A chance to check in, make plans, answer a message or simply enjoy the ride before the next part of your day begins. is made up of moments like these — real people moving through the Midlands in their own way, on their own time.
