Well, well, well… look who remembered she has a page. 😂✈️
It's been a hot minute. Okay, more like seven months, but who's counting?

Life has been busy, travel has been happening, and somewhere along the way, posting on social media ended up at the very bottom of my to-do list.

But here's the thing… my love for travel, exploring new places, and helping people create incredible experiences never went anywhere. ❤️

And I've realized something over the last few months.

There's so much more I want to share than just vacation deals and pretty destination pictures.

I want to talk about the things nobody tells you before booking a vacation. The mistakes that can cost you money. The destinations that are actually worth the hype. The little details that can make or break a trip.

And of course, a little travel humor, because if you've ever tried to get an entire family through an airport, you know there's plenty of material. 😂

It feels early to talk about Christmas at Disney.

It’s not. 🎄✨

Because the families who want the best holiday trips are already starting to plan ahead.

And Disney at Christmas?
There is truly nothing like it.

🎄 Holiday decorations everywhere
✨ Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
🎶 Jollywood Nights
🎅 Special characters and festive outfits
🍪 Holiday snacks and treats
🏰 Castle photos, resort hopping, and those magical Christmas memories

But Christmas at Disney is not something I would wait on.

The dates matter.
The resort matters.
The party night matters.

Sandals Royal Caribbean has some exciting changes on the way, and this renovation is looking like a serious upgrade. 🌴✨

The resort is currently expected to welcome guests again in December 2026, and from what has been shared so far, it looks like the entire arrival, pool, dining, and room experience is getting a more polished, luxury feel.

A few things worth watching:

🌊 The entrance area appears to be getting a beautiful new pool feature with a beach-view backdrop
🍹 The main pool area is expected to include a swim-up bar
🍽️ A Parasol restaurant concept is being added
☕ A Blum coffee shop is listed in the updates
🏡 The renovated rooms and overwater bungalows look like they will have a fresher, more elevated design style

There are still a few details that look like they may not be fully finalized yet, especially around the restaurant lineup, so I’ll be watching for official updates as the reopening gets closer.

But overall? This looks like a big transformation for Sandals Royal Caribbean.

Can we just openly admit that planning a Disney vacation does not feel as simple as it used to? 😅

Every week I see families asking:

“Do I need Lightning Lane?”

“Which park should we do first?”

“How many days do we actually need?”

“Can we do Disney without feeling completely overwhelmed?”

And honestly? Those are the right questions.

Disney is magical, but it is also layered. Resorts, tickets, dining, Lightning Lane, transportation, park strategy, rest days, character meals, budgets, and expectations all matter.

This is not a vacation where I would just pick the cheapest hotel, buy random tickets, and hope it all works out.

The pace of your family matters.

I love a spontaneous vacation.

But Epic Universe is not the part of your Universal Orlando trip I would wing. 😬

This is a brand-new theme park with a completely different flow, different demand, different crowds, and different planning strategy.

And every week I see families asking the same totally valid questions:

“Will it be too crowded?”

“Can we do everything in one day?”

“Should we add an extra night?”

“Do we need a different ticket?”

“Should we stay at a certain hotel?”

And the honest answer is: it depends.

It depends on when you are going.

It depends on your kids’ ages.

It depends on whether you want to prioritize Epic Universe, Harry Potter, thrill rides, Volcano Bay, or a slower family pace.
