We offer expert paint, refurbishment, maintenance, pilot training, and aircraft rental. Elite Air Service has been serving the needs of general aviation at the Branch County Memorial Airport in Coldwater MI since 2000. Elite Air Service is a small FBO that prides itself on friendly hometown service. We offer maintenance for fixed and rotorwing aircraft, floatplanes, fuel service, hangar rental, aircraft sales and purchase assistance, courtesy car, rental cars and we can arrange catering too.

One of the most unique Fly-Ins in the Midwest! ✈️🥞

The 78th Annual Branch County Memorial Airport Fly-In Breakfast had so much more than aircraft and pancakes. This year’s event was packed with something for everyone — from Planet Powersports showcasing some of the coolest powersports machines, to Hutch’s Marine highlighting pontoon lake life, to the Planes, Trains & Motorcycles Ride bringing in riders from near and far.

Add in a car show with over 100 classic cars and trucks, scenic flights, great food, and a full morning of community fun, and it’s easy to see why this tradition keeps growing year after year.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, brought a vehicle, rode in, flew in, volunteered, or helped make the 78th Annual Fly-In Breakfast such a great day at the airport.

Scenic flights are one of our most popular attractions at the Fly-In! ✈️

The smiles say it all. We loved helping more guests experience the view from above during the Branch County Flying Club’s 78th Annual Fly-In Breakfast.

For some, it was their first time in a small airplane. For others, it was a chance to see Coldwater and the surrounding area from a whole new perspective. Either way, these are the moments that make sharing aviation with the community so special.

✈️ Fridays Are for the Beech! 🌴😎

…but not the sandy kind. We’ll leave those beaches for the weekend.

Today, our maintenance team is busy working through the final squawks on this classic Beech 18 before it’s delivered to its new owner. After many years of faithful service, it’s a little bittersweet to see this airplane move on to its next chapter, but we’re excited for the adventures that lie ahead.

For now, we’re making sure every last detail is taken care of so it leaves Elite ready for many more years of flying.

✈️🥞 What an incredible Sunday morning at the 78th Annual Fly-In Breakfast!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Elite Air Service and the Branch County Memorial Airport to help make this year’s event such a success. From the aircraft flying in, to the pancake breakfast, scenic rides, classic cars, motorcycles, RC flyers, wagon rides, raffles, and families walking the grounds — it was a beautiful reminder of what makes this community so special.

A huge thank you to the volunteers, pilots, aircraft owners, car owners, riders, sponsors, local businesses, and everyone who helped carry on this 78-year tradition.

We loved seeing the airport full of life, laughter, history, and aviation passion.

Recently, Jonah brought his dad along for a pre-solo flight lesson focused on takeoffs and landings.

Not only was it a great opportunity for Jonah to share his newfound passion for aviation with his father, but it also gave him valuable experience feeling how an additional passenger affects the aircraft’s performance and handling.

Watching students reach these milestones and share them with family is one of the most rewarding parts of flight instruction.

We recently had the privilege of helping Kyle earn his tailwheel endorsement!

Kyle came to training as an experienced pilot and proved to be a quick learner. He did an outstanding job developing the skills and techniques required to safely and confidently operate a tailwheel aircraft. Watching his progress and seeing him reach this milestone was a pleasure.

✈️🥞 What a beautiful day for the 78th Annual Branch County Fly-In Breakfast at Elite Air Service!

Aircraft have been arriving from all over the Midwest, and among today’s most impressive visitors are these two rare Grumman G-44A Super Widgeons.

Built by Grumman as amphibious aircraft capable of operating from both land and water, the Widgeon first flew in 1940 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most capable utility seaplanes ever produced. Only 317 Widgeons of all variants were built, and today fewer than three dozen are believed to remain airworthy worldwide.

What makes these aircraft even more special is that they are Super Widgeons—high-performance conversions featuring upgraded Lycoming engines, improved systems, increased payload capacity, and modern avionics. These upgrades transformed an already capable amphibian into a fast, comfortable aircraft equally at home on a remote lake or a paved runway.

Seeing one Super Widgeon is a treat. Seeing two together on the same ramp is something most aviation enthusiasts may never experience.

A huge thank you to all the pilots, aircraft owners, volunteers, and visitors who helped make the 78th Annual Fly-In Breakfast another incredible day at Branch County Memorial Airport. The weather couldn’t be better, the pancakes are hot, and the skies are full of aviation history. Also, the grounds are full of acres of classic cars. And we have dozens of motorcycles lining up for the first annual trains, planes, and motorcycles ride by Planet Powersports!
