Lebanon Train Fest to Feature Two Visiting Steam Locomotives!

Jeddo Coal No. 85 and Little River Railroad No. 1 headline 40th Anniversary
Celebration of the LM&M Railroad

LEBANON, Ohio — The LM&M Railroad is excited to announce that Lebanon Train Fest will debut on September 12–13, 2026, featuring two operating steam locomotives—Jeddo Coal Company No. 85 and Little River Railroad No. 1.

The event marks a truly historic occasion, as it is believed to be the first time in more than 100 years that two steam locomotives have operated together in Lebanon. The
weekend celebration also commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the LM&M Railroad, making this year's Train Fest one of the most significant railroad events ever held in Warren County.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, and excitement of two authentic steam locomotives while enjoying a full weekend of family-friendly
entertainment.

"This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for railfans, families, and history enthusiasts," said a LM&M Railroad President Ray Kammer Jr. "Bringing two historic steam locomotives together in Lebanon while celebrating the LM&M Railroad's 40th anniversary creates an unforgettable experience that honors our community's rich railroad heritage."

In addition to steam-powered train rides and locomotive displays, Lebanon Train Fest will
feature:
• Free children's activities
• Live music throughout the weekend
• Railroad vendors and exhibits
• Food vendors
• Family-friendly entertainment for all ages

Lebanon Train Fest celebrates the enduring legacy of American railroading while supporting the mission of Cincinnati Scenic Railway, the nonprofit organization that operates the LM&M Railroad. Proceeds from the event help preserve and restore historic railroad equipment while providing educational and memorable rail experiences for future generations.

Advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged, as high demand is expected for this historic event.

We have received many inquiries about our next heist, but we have some tough news: the bandits had their parole denied! 🤠

In all reality, the Train Robbery Event will not be happening this year. Due to tight timing, maintenance schedules, and other behind-the-scenes logistics, there will not be a train robbery for this season. šŸš‚ā˜¹ļø

Jokes aside, please know that we are already working hard behind the scenes to bring you an incredible experience for next year. We will release information about it once we have finalized everything sometime in March next year. šŸ”«šŸ“
Our apologies to those we were looking forward to it.

Dear Friends and Patrons of the Little River Railroad,

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our founder, Terry Bloom, has passed away.

Terry didn't just create a tourist railroad; he built a community dedicated to the preservation of steam history. His commitment to the Little River Railroad was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy that has touched countless lives in Coldwater and beyond. While the tracks may feel a little heavier today, we honor Terry by continuing the important work he started.

Information regarding services will be posted on our website as we receive it. We thank you for your support as we mourn the loss of a true pioneer.

As most of you know, Engine #110 and our name, came from a logging railroad in Townsend, Tennessee and our founder Terry has been invited to speak about bringing #110 back to life during their Railroad and Heritage Festival.

At this year’s Railroad & Heritage Festival, we’re honored to welcome Terry Bloom, the man whose determination and heart helped save and restore beloved Engine #110.

Join us Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM as Terry shares the incredible journey of finding #110, rescuing her from decay, and bringing her back to life.

It’s a powerful piece of Little River history, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Please share with your friends.
