Tickets are sold out!!

Beginning October 4th in Southern Michigan, you can ride the “Fall Pumpkin Train” aboard Little River Railroad for a classic autumn trip from Coldwater to Quincy. The 1:00 p.m. excursion lasts about 90 minutes round trip and travels through the countryside behind a historic steam locomotive while the trees are changing for fall. Once the train reaches Quincy, passengers can step off during the layover, shop for pumpkins and gourds at the platform, and pick up apples or apple c***r from local Showcase Gardens & Landscaping. Pumpkins are cash only, so bring some along if you plan to take one home for Halloween. The railroad’s fall rides are scheduled for October 4, 11, 18, and 25, making it an easy weekend outing for families, couples, or anyone who loves old trains and fall scenery. Tickets start at $22 for adults and $15 for children ages 3–11, while children two and under ride free without a ticket. Pre-purchased tickets are highly recommended, and visitors should arrive at the Coldwater station at least 30 minutes before departure. Restrooms are available, and the train is generally wheelchair accessible for a relaxed and fun fall adventure here in Michigan!

Crispy cool fall air has arrived and so have our Pumpkin Trains. Our first excursion is this Sunday, September 27th departing at 1:00PM running every Sunday until October 25th. Tickets are live at www.littleriverrailroad.com tickets can sell out quick highly recommended to buy online. Pumpkins, apple c***r, apples, and donuts from Showcase Gardens and Landscaping will be for cash purchase only in Quincy Village Park upon arrival. Tickets for our November Hillsdale Flyer train ride will go on sale tonight at 8PM.

This is a 4 hour round trip ride to Hillsdale, MI. The train will be pulled by an Indiana Northeastern Railroad diesel locomotive.

Dear Friends and Patrons of the Little River Railroad,

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our founder, Terry Bloom, has passed away.

Terry didn't just create a tourist railroad; he built a community dedicated to the preservation of steam history. His commitment to the Little River Railroad was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy that has touched countless lives in Coldwater and beyond. While the tracks may feel a little heavier today, we honor Terry by continuing the important work he started.

Information regarding services will be posted on our website as we receive it. We thank you for your support as we mourn the loss of a true pioneer.

Tickets, get your tickets! Tickets are available on the 11AM Father’s Day and only a few left on the 2PM. Fathers ride free with a paying ticket. Treat all the dads you know to a special treat. Nothing is cooler than a ride behind century old steam locomotive.

Tickets are highly recommended to be bought online. Only a few will be available at walk up.
