As a Certified Arborist and biologist I am highly qualified and experienced in performing any job related to trees, from hazardous removals to fine pruning. At Bluebird Tree Care I aspire to help maintain and encourage the beauty and well being of all trees. I am committed to treating my customers with fairness and honesty. My credentials include:

*Bachelor of Science in biology from George Fox U

niversity.
*Lead Climber and foreman at prominent Spokane tree company for over ten years.
*I have worked for the City of Coeur d' Alene, Coeur d' Alene Downtown Association, City of Spokane, Spokane Country Club, Hayden Lake Country Club and Black Rock Development.
*Instructor of "Introduction to Tree Climbing" at Spokane Community College.
*Qualified Tree Risk Assessor (successful completion of the TRAQ Course).
*Well versed in plant identification - from perennials to large trees.
*Extremely proficient in diagnosing plant problems and identifying pests and diseases.
*Trained in fine ornamental pruning as well as large structural and hazardous pruning.

Thank you to everyone that continues to rely on us for quality, small, and local tree care. Ben continues to believe in the owner-operator model and he is involved on some level with every job we complete. He is a one-man show on tree related phone calls, so sometimes it takes him a few extra days to get back to everyone, especially in the spring or after a large storm. Thank you for your patience, we appreciate all of you.

Cheryl Corwin heard a loud crack as a tree fell on a nearby home during the windstorm around 1 a.m. on Thursday on Lugo Court, Post Falls. The house Corwin's neighbor, Nicole Hopkins, called home was overshadowed by a large tree.

It is hard to believe Bluebird has been around for over ten years! What started as a lone talented arborist, an old blue dump truck (we still have it), a black dog, zero business experience, and the most grit I have ever witnessed in one human has blossomed into a successful company. Ben works so hard every day to create a business that values its customers, community, and employees. Thankfully, we still have time for an occasional Sidequest!
