One of a kind sidesaddle ISO a youth or small adult. Originally built by SC Gallup, this saddle came to me in very rough shape and has been completely rebuilt. The tree received a rawhide covering to last decades and the saddle is constructed from soft Havana bridle leather with a beautiful finish. Accented with brass spots, brass rigging, brass flower conchos, and a brass filigree stirrup, this was inspired by the old silver parade saddles and I would love to see it ridden in parades or sidesaddle exhibitions.

The saddle comes fully rigged with billets, latigos, two different length stirrup leathers, the fancy brass stirrup pictured, a safety stirrup, and a rear cinch made to measure for the buyer's horse. Matching tack is available by request.

PSA: Never stitch straight across a strap! This is called the postage stamp effect and is caused by a line of perforation weakening the strap. Someone had a wild ride when this rigging gave up.

Would anyone be interested in a DIY bridle kit? Or belt, dog collar, guitar strap, etc? I'd put together a box with all the straps cut to length, holes, buckle slots, and ends punched, strap edges beveled, plus a dye kit and supplies for finishing the edges, Chicago screws, buckles, conchos, and instructions. Could either be no-sew, or I could make it an easy "intro to saddle stitching" project (pre-punched holes, you just stitch it up).

Here's something a little different: a leather "rope" halter. This one is horse size but I can make them bigger or smaller, with or without sidepull rings. The tails on the crown will be cut and bound to suit your horse's size. $75 plus shipping
