New Hangar construction has started finally on Sept 8. We expect the wood to start going up next week. If the weather holds, we should be complete this year.

The airport is ready. I have heard that build it and they will come. Large signs are up.

The Fly-in Walk-in will be here in 10 days. Sept 6. The field is empty and almost ready. It still needs a little trimming.

I had a couple of visitors last week at the airport. They wanted to be part of the Fly-in Walk-in but didn't know it was on Sept 6th this year. They were disappointed that they picked the wrong day to run away. Maybe they won't get caught and can attend next week.

The airport manager said to get rid of the pile of dirt by the South Hangar for the Sept 14 Flyin. So it is written so it shall be done!

Last year the South hangar was given a concrete floor and the dirt from that had not been spread out yet. It looks much better now.

Fly-in is only 6 days away. Now comes crunch time. On my list was the replacement of the windsock. The old one was tired and wanted to retire. New one looks ready to go.
