Good afternoon everyone.

I am very happy to report that due to the very hard work of many people, to include the Clinton Fireworks Committee, along with the incredible generousity of numerous business owners and town residents, the Saturday August 29, 2026 Clinton Fireworks are officially ON. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and generousity.

Along with the fireworks that evening, there will be several other great things going on that day around the harbor.

The Clinton Placemakers are hosting “Clinton Dock Days”. These activities include a dog dock diving competition, boat building competition and a children’s fishing derby for 6-12 year old children all at the town docks. For further details on these events, please see the information pushed out by the Clinton Placemakers.

We will also be holding the 2nd annual Clinton Harbor boat parade which will begin at 1pm that day. I anticipate a great turnout for the boat parade as we have a number of great prizes for the best decorated boats in the parade due to the generosity and support of several local businesses.

I have attached a few fliers for these events.

As a reminder the FREE Clinton trolley is up and running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. I have attached the trolley information flier as well.

I would like to thank local artists Bruce Lighty for the top painting and Danielle Divito for the lower painting as they have recognized the Clinton Town Docks as a picturesque location for artists to create their paintings. These two paintings are on display at the Clinton Harbormaster/Dockmaster office at the Clinton Town Docks.

The boat that sunk off of Shore Road last week has been removed today.

Thank you to the CTDEEP, Clinton PD, Clinton FD, Clinton DPW, Environmental Services Inc, Petzold’s Port Clinton Marina and the Clinton community for all your collective assistance and support with everything that was involved in this situation.

I would like to truly thank Mike Corcoran and Chris Funk for organizing today’s “International Music Day” at the Clinton Town Docks. I can honestly say that all participating musicians and bands did a phenomenal job! I received nothing but great comments from the many people I spoke to throughout the day today about the awesome music that was being played all day.
I hope that everyone is able to enjoy our beautiful town dock area and support all the harbor area local businesses. We are so very fortunate that be able to enjoy such a special place called Clinton Harbor!

Good morning everyone.

I am happy to announce the 2026 Clinton Harbor Boat Parade, the 2nd annual, will take place on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 1pm. The parade flier is attached with the sign up registration information. Many local businesses have graciously offered gift cards as prizes for the best decorated boats. As America is celebrating its 250th anniversary, feel free to use this as a theme for boat decorations however all decorated boats are more than welcome.

Last years parade was extremely well received and was a great time for all.

The Clinton Police Department have been out in Clinton Harbor patrolling the harbor all weekend and are doing a terrific job ensuring all boaters are operating safely. Thank you Clinton PD!

Good afternoon all,

I wanted everyone to be aware of a terrific event taking place at the Clinton Town Docks on Saturday June 20th from 11am-6pm called “ Music at the Docks”. This event is to celebrate “International Music Day”. There will be several local musicians and groups playing free, live music throughout the day at the Clinton Town Dock. All the harbor area restaurants will be open and available for everyone to enjoy.
I hope to see many of you down at the Town Dock that day.
