Congratulations to one of our own, Seth, on being selected as a recipient of the Tommy Wofford Aviation Award!

Seth previously interned with our team and is now working toward earning his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate. We're proud to see him recognized with this award. A special thank you to Lloyd, Linda, and the entire Wofford family for investing in the future of aviation!

The Tommy Wofford Aviation Award was established by Tommy's son, Lloyd Wofford, to honor his father's legacy and invest in the next generation of aircraft mechanics.

Tommy Wofford was an Arkansas businessman, pilot, aircraft mechanic, and World War II Navy veteran whose life was shaped by a passion for aviation and a commitment to serving others. He soloed his first airplane at just 16 years old before joining the U.S. Navy at 17, where he served as an aircrewman on a TBM torpedo bomber. After returning home to Arkansas, he joined his family's business and became known for his strong work ethic, exceptional mechanical skill, and commitment to taking care of every customer. Those values of integrity, craftsmanship, and service continue through this award today.

ICE PROTECTION IN JULY! This Piper PA-46 Heated Windshield with only 300 flight hours is on the shelf and ready to install – Bench Tested Per Piper Service Letter No. 1204

This is a used OEM Piper heated windshield that has been tested using the Piper-approved serviceability procedure outlined in Piper Service Letter No. 1204. Unlike the outdated practice of relying on cockpit ammeter readings, this windshield was evaluated by measuring heater element resistance directly at the terminal blocks, as specified by Piper.

We are proud to support the next generation of aviation professionals by donating two airplanes; a Piper Arrow and a Mooney, an aircraft engine, airframe structures, propellers, and additional training equipment to UA North Arkansas College.

This investment is about creating opportunities for students, strengthening our aviation workforce, and helping build the future of aviation right here in rural Arkansas.
