The Clinton Marina, Clinton Iowa
The Clinton Marina falls under the Parks and Rec department for the City of Clinton, Iowa. With three docks plus a gas dock that sells both unleaded (87) and diesel fuels, the marina offers an array of slip sizes and pricing for the many boaters in and around our community. We have 30 slips available for our transient visitors and the Candlelight Inn available for
dine-in or takeout eating. One can either make reservations to hold a slip for the night in advance by calling 563-242-3600 or just show up and look for any slip that has a blue tagged ‘open’ sign. Electric and water hookup, CLEAN bathrooms with showers, wifi and an on-site laundry facility are included and available to our overnight transient visitors. The Marina also helps oversee the Riverfront camping grounds for the City. There are currently 28 camp pads (Sites 1 and 2 are ADA compliant) available on a first-come, first-serve basis (reservations are not available at this time). The park offers the amenities of walking or biking along the riverfront (bikes are available for rent at nearby locations), the Lumber Kings baseball park (which has fireworks at the end of each home game and oftentimes a live band playing on weekends). The Candlelight Inn - a hop, skip and jump away, offers a fine or relaxed dining experience that offers a magnificent view of the marina and river below. Outdoor seating available during good weather. You’re also within walking distance of many other eating venues, shopping in historic downtown Clinton as well as Jewel/Osco or HyVee to get simple groceries. There are 2 men’s and 2 women’s restrooms with showers, a pump out. Water and electric hookup only (no sewer hook-up) 30 and 50 amp service. Free public wifi. $22 when the water is on and $15 a night when the water is shut off. We have a camp host on the premises from approximately mid-May to mid-October.
