Position: Shipping Manager
Location: Clinton, TN
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience
min $16 an hour

1. Logistics Coordination: Manage and oversee all aspects of shipping and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of shipping associates to achieve high performance and meet company objectives.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, optimizing stock for efficient order fulfillment.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to guarantee that shipments meet company standards and customer expectations.
5. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring reliable supply chains.
6. Compliance: Stay informed about shipping regulations and ensure that all shipping activities comply with local and international laws.
7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement within the shipping department.
Requirements:
• Experience in shipping and logistics is favorable but not required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
