The intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Street will be closed today as our Public Works crews install new retractable safety bollards.

These heavy duty steel posts are built into the roadway and can be raised or lowered as needed. When raised, they prevent vehicles from entering restricted areas. When lowered, they sit flush with the ground so traffic can pass normally. This added safety feature helps protect pedestrians, supports special events, and allows us to control access to the area when streets are closed.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this improvement. Please use alternate routes while work is underway.
