Did you know the farmhouse in Living with the Land is a replica of Walt Disney’s house in Marceline, Missouri? You can even get a glimpse into his boyhood room upstairs while eating at Garden Grill.

Though he only lived there from 5 to 10 years old, Marceline left such an impression on him that Main Street USA is largely modeled after the town at the turn of the century.

Which Resort is right for me❓

Disney offers so many awesome resort options to fit guests’ needs and budgets! They even offer a campground!!
One of my favorite parts of my job is to match my clients to the right resort for their families!

There are 3️⃣ Resort categories to choose from:

⭐️ Value Resorts⭐️
Value resorts are the most affordable resort category and typically accommodate up to 4 guests per room and offer 2 queen beds. These resorts offer larger-than-life theming that guests of every age will enjoy.

⭐️ Moderate Resorts⭐️
The most popular resort category, Moderate level resorts offer more spacious rooms than the Value level. Most rooms are equipped with 2 queen beds with some even offering a fun 5th sleeper Murphy bed that kids love. Moderate resorts offer a food court as well as a full-service restaurant on-site. Fun pools with water slides and other activities like fishing or horse-drawn carriage rides are just some of the fun that can be found at select Moderate resorts.

⭐️ Deluxe Resorts ⭐️
For those looking for even more awesomeness on their vacation, Disney’s Deluxe Resorts will not disappoint! All Deluxe Resorts offer excellent accommodations with large rooms!! The Deluxe resorts are situated in prime locations on Disney Property. Some resorts offer direct monorail transportation, some are even within walking distance to a park!! Magical theme park views of the fireworks at night, along with amazingly themed pools and grounds make staying at a Disney Deluxe Property an experience you won’t forget.

❗️ Pro Tip ❗️

✈️ Flying can come with all kinds of issues, particularly delays and cancellations.

Come prepared!!

📱 Most airports come equipped with phone chargers in the terminals- make sure to bring chargers for all devices in your carry-on bags so that they are ready to charge phones, tablets, computers, etc.

📕 Bring a book! Whether you are stuck on the plane or on the terminal, books will help pass the time!

♟️ Make sure to bring activities for little ones! Coloring books, travel games, word searches, and favorite toys (small ones!) can also be a lifesaver in a sticky situation!

😃 Bring your PATIENCE! More often than not, delays and cancellations are out of the control of staff members- so be kind.

One of the most common questions I get asked is how you can save money for a Disney World vacation!

Here are my personal 5 Favorite Steps (I use these for myself!)

1️⃣ Booking early - you can put a $200 deposit down almost a year in advance! Locking in the best pricing/rooms/availability!

2️⃣ Use rewards programs for Disney Gift Card purchases! Shopkick, Target Redcard, even Sams club!

3️⃣ Once you’ve made your deposit, set a weekly or monthly budget to pay or put aside! If you have booked 9 months in advance and have a $3500 booking - after $200 deposit = $3300 = $412.50 per month or $103 per week! (Divided by 8 months since final payment is due 30 days in advance!)

4️⃣ Watch for promotions! Having an agent on your side always helps!

5️⃣ Try traveling during off seasons - I love traveling the first week or two of September!
