Talk about a GREAT time on the GREAT LAKES! 🌊✨

We often travel far thousands of miles for beautiful views, but wow—gorgeous scenery is right in our own backyard! Over the past 12 days we crossed some of the world’s largest freshwater lakes, visited charming towns and big cities, enjoyed amazing meals, sipped local wine and beer 🍷🍺, and shared moments that remind us why we travel.

I can’t even describe all the laughs and memories we made 😂📸. SWS will be debuting more cruises to close to home - so stay tuned for that!! 🇺🇸🚢

We kicked things off in Toronto almost 2 weeks ago - criss crossed the Great Lakes - and made it into our final port of Milwaukee this morning. I can't think of a better way to wrap up a fun adventure than a night out at the ballpark ⚾️

SWS surprised everyone with matching t-shirts; and it's all about the suite life with our own personal oasis in the middle of American Family Field -- complete with brats, beer and more. 😋

It'll be hard to say goodbye to everyone, but all good things must come to an end, and this Great Lakes cruise has been INCREDIBLE! So much beauty, so close to home. Thanks to Pearl Seas Cruises for treating us so well and the memories we all made. ❤️

Why do I do what I do? Because there’s NOTHING like the SWS community!

Our Great Lakes cruise continues to take us to some unforgettable spots — including Detroit — where I got to meet up with fellow SE Michigan sailors for Detroit pizza at Buddy’s. Lots of laughs and great times. Thanks for coming out, friends!

Italy has always had my heart. 🇮🇹

I’ve been there, wandered its streets, watched the light move across old stone, and felt how time slows down in the most beautiful way. And that’s exactly why I want you to experience it like this.

In September 2027, we’ll travel through the Venetian Lagoon aboard Uniworld’s S.S. La Venezia, an intimate ship with just 126 guests. We’ll explore Venice after the crowds are gone, visit places like St. Mark’s Basilica after hours, drift past colorful islands like Burano, and discover corners of Italy most people never slow down enough to notice.
Then we’ll journey to Rome, where history isn’t behind glass — it’s alive all around you.

Pearl Mist pulled into Cleveland today to a beautiful 70° and ☀️. Clouds rolled this afternoon - but overall, a FANTASTIC day.

The highlight? The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — one word: PHENOMENAL 🤘🎸
If you love music of any kind, this place is an absolute must. I truly loved the experience.

Afterward, we explored downtown and grabbed lunch at Mabel’s BBQ by Michael Symon — so good 🍖🔥

We also stopped by the historic Cleveland Arcade, one of the first enclosed shopping arcades in the U.S., dating back to the late 1800s 🏛️

If you’ve never been — I’d absolutely recommend checking out Cleveland 👍

Tonight we cruise across Lake Erie and into the Detroit River, heading for the Motor City on Monday 🚢✨

I’ve always heard about the thunderous beauty of Niagara Falls and wanted to visit—finally got the chance! 🌊

The Pearl Mist pulled into Port Colborne, and a few of us made a quick drive over to the falls. Even with some pretty nasty weather, we hopped on a sightseeing boat and got up close and personal… soaked, windswept, and totally worth it! 🤣🤪

A few fun facts about Niagara Falls:

* It’s actually made up of three waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls (the largest), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls
* Over 3,000 tons of water flow over the falls every second 😳
* It’s one of the most powerful waterfalls in North America
* The falls have been a major source of hydroelectric power for both Canada and the U.S. ⚡

The afternoon slowed down in the best way with a cozy wine tasting at an adorable little shop in town 🍷—who knew Niagara had such wonderful wines?!

Next stop: Cleveland — and that means Rock & Roll! 🤘🎸 Stay tuned for more 😜

Hello from Lake Ontario — one of the five Great Lakes we’ll be visiting over the next 12 days!

We’ve just wrapped up a couple of fantastic days in Toronto 🇨🇦 — Canada’s largest city — and it did not disappoint. We stayed right inside the Rogers Centre ⚾️ (home of the Blue Jays) and enjoyed a sunset dinner 🌇 high above the city at the iconic CN Tower. In between, we explored the city, soaked up the energy, and even squeezed in a little shopping 🛍️.

Next stop: Niagara Falls — and for many of us, it’ll be a first visit! There’s plenty more ahead, so stick around as we cruise 🚢 close to home on this unique Great Lakes itinerary, wrapping things up in Milwaukee on June 2!
