This initiative includes not only robot mowers but also delivery robots, security patrol robots, cleaning robots and more. Last week at the Humanoid Robotics Summit in Silicon Valley, I had the opportunity to use Waymo fully autonomous vehicles to get around the area. It was a great experience and very similar to calling for an Uber or Lyft except that the car shows up without a driver and no need to tip! More robots in the real world!

Update on our truck tire blow-out from yesterday…Discount Tire found a sizable hole in the tread and replaced the tire under their roadside hazard warranty. The sidewalll held up surprisingly well for such a quick deflation and 3K lbs in the bed! Just another reason to like Discount Tire and Michelin!

Welcome back to Florida! Just south of Ocala on I-75, the truck TPMS alerted and in less than 20 seconds we lost all air pressure in the back left tire. Fortunately, I was able to get the rig off the interstate and onto the wide shoulder for the weigh station we had just passed. There was no indication of a tire issue, just sudden loss of pressure. Also no visible sign of what caused the issue. Fortunately, we were able to get the tire changed after disconnecting from the RV. Now a trip to Discount Tire tomorrow.
