HONORING OUR TEAM! 🏆 Recently, CATbus came together for our annual Employee Welcome Back Luncheon to officially kick off the 2026-2027 season. Please join us in celebrating Wilbert Butler, Patsy Breazeale, and Bruce Whiteside, who each received well-deserved Awards Of Appreciation during the event. Additionally, a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Jimmy Sanders on his promotion to Transit Supervisor! 👏

As CATbus resumes regular full services, the Luncheon provides the opportunity to reconnect, celebrate, and align on our goals for the upcoming year.

BEEP, BEEP! 🚨 Due to GPS issues, the Gold Route buses and some Red Route buses are currently not showing up on the Transloc app. These routes are fully operational. We are actively working to resolve this issue.

Additionally, the Central Route is temporarily operating via a white Sprinter van. Please look out for this vehicle if you are tracking this route.

HEADS UP, RIDERS! 🚍 There is storm damage on Cherry Road between West Cherry Road and Perimeter Road, impacting the Pendleton Route and the Highpointe/Pier Route. Additionally, a separate detour for the Pendleton Route remains in effect.

WELCOME BACK DETOURS! 🐅 Next Monday, August 17, the Red Route will be detoured for the Welcome Back Festival. This detour, which bypasses downtown, will be in effect starting at 3:30 PM. College Avenue is expected to be closed until 9:00 PM but may open earlier depending on cleanup efforts.

BEEP BEEP! 🚌 Due to Clemson University student move-in, the Red-Clemson Route will bypass The Reserve clubhouse stop on Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13. After the Red-Clemson bus departs University Village, the next stop will be at 100 Regency on Issaqueena Trail.

The Red-Central stop at The Reserve (after the HWY 93 traffic light) will remain in use. If you are heading toward Clemson, please board the Red-Central bus at this location instead.

SERVICE ALERT UPDATE! 🚨 For the remainder of today, August 10, the Pendleton bus is continuing to run a revised route. After turning onto Cherry Street, the bus will turn left onto Benjamin Boulevard and turn left onto Calhoun Boulevard. This means the route will bypass Palmetto Village, Sarrar Street, and Thomas Street.

🚏 During this time, the bus stop will relocate to the corner of Lebanon Road and Cherry Street.

SERVICE ALERT UPDATE! 🚨 For the remainder of today, August 7, the Pendleton bus is temporarily running a revised route. After reaching Cherry Street, the bus will detour straight through the stop sign, turn right on Elm Street, turn right on East Queen Street, and turn left onto Elm Street to resume its regular route. This means the route will bypass Palmetto Village, Sarrar Street, and Thomas Street.

🚏 During this time, the bus stop will relocate to the corner of Lebanon Road and Cherry Street.
