The Culinary Arts program at CHS and its student chefs treated members of the CISD Transportation Department to breakfast, in appreciation for all they do. Chef Smith and CTE Director Mark McClure also joined in to make omelettes for the honored guests--who had a wonderful time!

Thank you Chef Adair Smith & Crew for an amazing breakfast on Friday morning. The Sting was a beautiful setting for us to enjoy our breakfast and fellowship. From the omelet bar to all the fresh fruit, pastries, juice fountain and wonderful meats it was perfect. The transportation team really enjoyed ourselves. 💛🖤

First morning that my bus had frost on the windshield. Figured running the defrost would eventually melt it, but while I waited someone started squirting de-icer on my windshield. That somebody was the transportation director, Dr. Van Winkle. 6:00 in the morning he’s out there in freezing weather, helping us be our best. I have an awesome boss!

Pick up students from home/designated bus stops and take them to school. Return in the afternoon to return student to their homes.
AM hours 6-8:30
PM hours 2:30-5
Hours may vary with the new Covid -19 changes to routes

Big congratulations goes out today to Ted G. for becoming our newest licensed driver! Ted went to Mansfield to test for his CDL today with his trainer Cynthia C and passed! Great job Ted !
