Day 7 - last day in Iceland. Not a lot of pictures today, but we had a great day. We visited a lady that dies her own wool yarn using native plants. Then we went to the sky Lagoon spa. Spent the day relaxing. Cold plunge pool, sauna, salt scrub and steam room. Then we had a couple of hours just relaxing in the geothermal lagoon over looking the ocean. We have a group supper tonight and we fly home tomorrow. What an amazing trip this has been.

Day 7 Iceland- today we took a long bus ride to the glaciers. There are 15,000 waterfalls in Iceland so we stopped to see another one on our way. We took a duck boat ride around the glacier lagoon which was pretty cool. Stopped at another black sand beach called Diamond beach. The glacier lagoon feeds into the ocean at this beach. Had a lamb burger for lunch which was very good. Then stopped at the largest lava field in the world. The weather was amazing today.

Day 6 in Iceland- today was amazing. We started the day seeing the puffins. They are so cute and unique birds. We went to the glacier and the glacier lagoon. We stopped at another beautiful waterfall. Visited the Iceland museum, they had an enormous phone collection from the beginning of the phone. We visited the black sand beach. Ended the day shopping. The landscape here is so pretty and unusual to anything I have seen.

Day 5 Iceland- we visited the geothermal plant that provides energy to 3/4 of the population of Iceland. We then went onto the lava center, which was pretty educational and pretty cool.. We then went to the largest waterfall in Iceland where we were able to hike up and behind. It was amazing. The weather today was cold and rainy, but we didn’t care. It was a great day.

Day 4 in Iceland- today we got to experience true Iceland weather. We didn’t let it stop us from whale watching. We saw a Minke Whale as well as a couple of Humpbacks that showed off a little for us. Stopped at a local bakery and enjoyed a crème brûlée donut which was amazing. Over all a great day.

Iceland day 3- weather was cooler today and windy but we still had a great day. Drove through a tunnel that was 5 miles long and 170 feet below the ocean. Visited a lighthouse and walked to the top and had amazing views. Saw another beautiful waterfall and ended the day at the geothermal hot springs.
