What a great honor for our driver Patrick Norrod, Air Force veteran, to serve our communities as he trekked from ME to NY delivering Wreaths Across America to over a dozen cemeteries. Many communities welcome our drivers with police escorts, parades, salutes, and many home-baked goods with stories and memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Patrick for your service and dedication.

This is one, of many reasons, why we honor Memorial Day. We honor those who served and we also celebrate, with gratitude, those who have taken on the courage of those before them. Today is all about our fallen soldiers, but for them it is the ultimate gratitude that their courageous spirit in defending our great country did not die with them. It is fitting to say Happy Memorial Day because we have veterans and active military who carry the flame of our fallen. May you all have a Happy Memorial Day honoring those who paved the way for us to live in freedom and happiness, their legacy lives on.
