Purpose

Providing caring and responsible wheelchair and ambulatory transportation for patients to and from their medical appointments using a company non-emergency medical transportation vehicle in Washington, Multnomah, and Clackamas counties. Driver will perform trips for our brokerage firms and private pay clientele.

Duties

· Transport passengers, assisting them hand to hand, loading/ unloading passengers and belongings

· Follow schedule, maps, etc., and report regularly to dispatch.

· Maintain vehicle; clean interior and exterior; work with dispatch to arrange vehicle service/maintenance

· Complete docs and maintenance records clearly and accurately.

· Participate in training and educational opportunities

Skills / Qualifications

· Safety and security minded

· Can read maps and GPS

· Dependable, energetic, customer service/team oriented, excellent communication skills.

· Has suitable parking area for company vehicle

· Preferred: PBOT Private For-Hire Transportation Permit

· Preferred: CPR / First Aid Certifications or other NEMT related training

Minimum Requirements (NOTE: Not meeting any of these will disqualify you from service)

· Possess and understand how to use apps on a smart phone

· Pass Federal Criminal Background Check (No Registered S*x Offenders and No felony convictions past 5 years)

· Less than 2 moving violations on driver’s record within the last 5 years

· No more than 1 accident on drivers record within the last 5 years

· Pass initial Drug Test, be willing/able to submit to random drug testing as requested

Compensation/Benefits

· Full time, possible over time

· Starting wage $15.00

· Use of Company vehicle to and from shift (not for personal use)

· Paid every two weeks

· 1 Week paid vacation after 12 months on the job full time (other terms and conditions apply)

· Company 401K (matching up to 3.5%)

All employees are required to wear a mask and gloves at all times during their shift. The vehicles are sanitized before and after every transport. Customers are required to wear masks.

Hey folks, please keep a lookout for a late 90s early 2000 model Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic that is teal in color. Should have lots of damage down the passenger side. This vehicle hit one of our vans this morning and fled the scene. Please keep your eyes out and if you locate the vehicle call our dispatch at 503-999-8265 and do your best to get pictures of the license plate and or driver. The accident took place on the Glisan Street/ I- 205 intersection area. Thanks! 🤬

**UPDATE***: OUR VAN WAS FOUND TODAY! WE GOT IT BACK. FILTHY INTERIOR, BUT NOTHING THAT CANNOT BE FIXED OR REPAIRED. THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR SHARES, PRAYERS, AND HOPES!! #6 WILL BE BACK IN SERVICE AND TAKING CARE OF OUR TREASURED RIDERS ASAP!
