We have 2 secure lots for parking free of charge. Over 50 company owned and maintained chassis that can be used on most of our moves to cut down on unnecessary trips into the depots. In our spotlight this month is Bob Vineyard! Bob began his career in trucking a little over 40 years ago after he spent 4 years in the Air Force. He has done it all from hauling cars for GM to running his own dump trucks. Bob has spent the last 10 years with us here at Land Transportation pulling intermodal loads and doing a fantastic job at it! He is a father/stepfather of 4 grown children, as well as a grandfather of 10! In his downtime you can find him at home, poolside with his lovely wife and 3 dogs.

When I asked Andy Coffaro (agent owner) to tell me a little bit about his history with Bob, he had plenty to say!

“Bob is a professional and a leader within our fleet. He is one of the more vocal guys and I am thankful to him for that. He does a great job of communicating to myself, and the rest of the office when there is an issue that needs to be addressed. He always does this in a way that is direct but not confrontational. I really appreciate that about him. Bob and I have worked together since my very first day at Land and I can say that he has helped me grow & learn in my position with the company. Despite the fact that he doesn’t miss an opportunity to tell me when Moeller beats St X in any sport – I still like him and respect him! (And so do all the folks in the office & his fellow Owner Operators in the fleet).”

Heads up!!! Brake Safety Week is coming up!! Are you prepared?? During the week of August 23rd-29th enforcement officials will be out and about pulling drivers in for inspections with the focus being on brake violations. Don't risk getting put out of service, make sure your truck is up to the task and functioning at peak performance!!

Curious about who we are and what we do? Land Transportation of Cincinnati, OH is an Intermodal Trucking Company that has been in business for almost 10 years and is located in Queensgate, Cincinnati (very near downtown). We are an agent of Evans Delivery service, based out of Schuylkill Haven, Pa, which gives us the benefit of having a large customer base while still maintaining a small family owned company feel. We have 50 of our own chassis that we use on over 90% of our runs, making things a bit more efficient for the fleet. Land Transportation operates with an all owner operator fleet. For your convenience there are 2 lots centrally located to most rails and depots (one in Queensgate and one in Sharonville) in which we offer free, secure parking. Today we want to shine our spotlight on Lester Harp for 10 amazing years of service at Land Transportation. If you see him out and about, please say hey and thank him for all of his hard work!

Lester has been in the intermodal trucking industry for 36 years and has spent the last 10 here at Land Transportation. He is one of our most seasoned drivers in the fleet and if you ask around you will hear he is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. When I asked Andy Coffaro- agent owner- his history with Lester he had the following to say, “Lester has been with the Land Transportation agency here in Cincinnati longer than I have … I can say that in all those years I have never seen him upset. He has a very calm demeanor and is a professional in how he conducts himself & handles his business. He has always communicated well with me on any issues or opportunities he sees out there in our intermodal world. I appreciate that about him. We are lucky to have him as a partner and I’m proud to work with him.” Lester currently resides in Northern Kentucky with his lovely wife of 35 years and their fur babies. Thank you Lester for 10 years of hard work and choosing Land to partner with! Here is to many more years to come!!
