🔥 A little maintenance can help prevent a big problem.

Your truck’s electrical system deserves attention, too. Regularly inspect wiring, fuses and electrical connections, and don’t ignore frayed or loose wires. They can create a dangerous fire risk.

Portable fire extinguishers have successfully put out approximately 95% of the fires in a large set of reported incidents studied over 34 years.

For truck drivers, having the right fire extinguisher on board, and making sure it’s charged, accessible and regularly inspected, can be an important first line of defense when a small fire starts.

🚨Thieves are looking for easy targets...don’t give them one.
Before walking away from your truck, take a few simple precautions:

✔️ Lock the doors
✔️ Take the ignition key
✔️ Choose secure, well-lit parking
✔️ Look for lots with fencing and video surveillance
✔️ Check your truck regularly when it’s parked for an extended period

Remember, many arson and theft claims happen over weekends and holidays, when equipment may sit unattended longer.

A little prevention can protect a whole lot of equipment!

As drivers, we share the road with buses, crossing guards, and kids walking to their bus stop or school. Remember to slow down in school zones, stay alert during drop-off and pick-up hours, and give extra space to pedestrians. A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference.

Davenport battled through adversity at Florence Speedway, bringing home a strong runner-up finish in the North-South 100 and proving once again what grit, determination and a great team can accomplish.
