Chemical Cleaning Manager – American Environmental

Location: Mobile, Alabama

American Environmental, a Superior Environmental Solutions, LLC company, is expanding our Chemical Cleaning team through our newest partnership with Chemworx and is seeking a skilled Chemical Cleaning Manager to support high‑performance industrial cleaning projects across refining, petrochemical, and heavy‑industry environments. If you excel at solving fouling problems, optimizing chemical circulation, and leading field operations, we want to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

β€’ Engineer and execute chemical cleaning procedures for exchangers, piping systems, boilers, and process equipment

β€’ Lead onsite chemical circulation, defouling, and crude‑oil service cleaning projects

β€’ Select chemical formulations and determine cleaning parameters

β€’ Support project planning, estimating, and technical reporting

β€’ Ensure strict compliance with American Environmental safety standards and client requirements

Qualifications:

β€’ Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience

β€’ 5+ years in industrial chemical cleaning, refinery services, or process‑equipment maintenance

β€’ Strong understanding of solvents, acids, detergents, and fouling mechanisms

β€’ Ability to lead field crews and travel to client sites

Preferred:

β€’ Experience with crude‑oil unit cleaning, power boilers, and or pre‑commissioning

β€’ TWIC, OSHA 30, or refinery safety certifications
