PLANT THESE TO HELP SAVE THE BEES. What are your bee-friendly planting suggestions?

Make sure you're not unknowingly buying bee-killing plants pre-treated with neonicotinoid insecticides from stores like Lowe's, Walmart and Home Depot. That's right, these stores, and others, are selling plants pre-treated with neonics that are killing our pollinating friends. Ask before you buy. If your retailer tells you they don't know, don't buy it. If they are using neonics, ask them to phase out the use of neonics on their plants. Your voice makes a difference! Also, some plants can be considered invasive, depending on your geography. So do a little research and try to plant native plants. Happy growing!
