BIKE FERRY CLOSED NOW FOE THE SEASON….

Well, it’s that time of year again where we thank you for your patronage this season and bid farewell until JUNE of 2026…can you believe that!

We humble operators at the bike ferry would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all of you who have traveled with us this and past years.

The Bike Ferry will be closed Thursday and Friday the 21st and 22nd due to the windy conditions related to hurricane Erin.

We interupt this message for another….!
Going forward into September, the bike ferry will operate on Saturdays and Sundays , 9-5
We will serve some bike tour groups Sept. 4th, 9th and 16th between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for any bikers that might want to grab a lift across the creek during that coverage….

The Bike Ferry is operating today (07/02/25) and will continue through into September …. 9 to 5, 7 days a week…barring equipment failure or severe weather 🤞🙏.

Regretting this bad weather, but it has helped us decide …
….WE WILL NOT OPERATE TODAY ….rain, then wind. Tomorrow looks sketchy as well, but we anticipate full operation from July 3 onward…

Greetings bikers….
I regret to say that WE CAN NOT GET THE FERRY INTO SERVICE TODAY.
We will use the week to tweak the glitches.
We launched early this morning but then discovered some mechanical issues that neither Sean nor Hugh were comfortable with.

The Bike Ferry will make its final runs of the season as follows..
Sat-Sun .. 9 to 5 .. this Sept 14 & 15
Mon - Tues.…11:30 to 1:30 .. this Sept 16 & 17

The bike ferry will be operating for a few hours today and tomorrow…..for short hours to carry some bike tours….
If you are interested in a lift, Sean will operate today, mon. Sept 9 between 9:30 and 11:30 and tomorrow, Tuesday the 10th from 11:30 until 1:30….
Stay tuned regarding what days we’ll operate going forward.
