The Caprock is beautiful, but she doesn't forgive a bad plan. 🌵🔥

With the heat hitting triple digits, the "one-way" trek across the Trailway can go from an adventure to a nightmare pretty fast.

Let’s be clear: If you or your group are in medical distress or struggling with the heat—Call 911. We are a scheduled transport service, not an emergency response team. We're often an hour or more away from a trailhead, and in a real emergency, every second counts.

DAGR Point-to-Point is your "Plan A" so you don't need a "Plan B":

✅ Scheduled Recoveries: Know your battery life. If you’re riding an E-bike and know you won’t make the return trip, schedule your recovery before you hit the trail.
✅ Water Caching: Don't gamble on your hydration. We can drop water and supplies at designated crossings so they're waiting for you when you arrive.
✅ Gear Hauling: If your pack is too heavy for the heat, we can shuttle your gear to your next stop.

Don't wait until you're in trouble to look for a ride. Book your shuttle or cache service at least 24 hours in advance.

My daughter and I hit the trail today, trekking from Monks Crossing to Clarity Tunnel. The weather was perfect and the views were even better. She handled the hike like a pro, but she did have one (very valid) complaint:

"Dad, why is there nobody here to drive us back to the truck?" She’s right. That’s the "Caprock Trap"—you either hike twice as far to get back to your vehicle, or you're stuck at the Tunnel with no way out.

That’s exactly why I started DAGR Point-to-Point.

While there’s no vehicle access directly at Clarity Tunnel, we can handle the logistics for everything else. We provide shuttle services from one end of the trailway to the other, plus all the designated points in between.

If you’ve ever hiked the Caprock Trailway, you know the biggest challenge isn't the elevation, it’s the logistics. Who wants to hike 10 miles out just to turn around and hike 10 miles back to their truck?

I’m Rico, and I’m officially launching DAGR Point-to-Point. We’re here to be your bridge across the trailway. We pick you up at your finish line and drop you at your start point, so you can enjoy the canyon the way it was meant to be seen.
