A Michigan man has been arrested for setting 25 trailer fires, deliberately targeting Swift. While each of us has a story to tell about a Swift driver, this guy clearly took it much too far.

The fires occurred at locations from Barstow, California to McCalla, Alabama, with most incidents occurring along Interstate 10 and Interstate 40.

All 50 state governors and DOTs have received letters urging them to apply for funds to increase truck parking. As we all know, this has been an ongoing issue, affecting the safety of not only truckers, but all motorists.

In case you didn't know, a Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed for 55 hours beginning tomorow, October 13th. Click the link below to learn which one it is and plan ahead! ⬇️

The roadway will be closed in both directions starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14 until 4 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17.

The DOT is stepping in to address the lack of Truck Parking. Just last night in TN our Chief Transportation Officer John paid for truck parking in advance, but the lot was so filled with improperly parked trucks that he still couldn't get into his spot. The lack of parking has been a constant issue that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later!
