DID YOU KNOW? ✈️

When departures is extremely busy in the morning, you don’t always have to sit in that traffic to drop someone off. If you have a departing passenger, you can often be dropped off at arrivals, take the elevator upstairs, and be right at departures in just a couple of minutes. It’s very similar to how I do many of my pickups in departures when passengers are landing, since arrivals is usually much busier in the evening.

The photos above were taken about a minute apart this morning. The top photo shows the traffic heading into departures, while the bottom photo shows arrivals. Quite a difference!

A simple trick that can save a lot of time when the airport gets backed up. ✈️

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the communities we call home, and the time spent with family and friends.

As we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th year, we’re reminded how fortunate we are to live, work, and serve in this great country.

Whether you’re heading to a backyard barbecue, a fireworks show, or simply enjoying a day of relaxation, we hope your holiday is filled with great memories, good food, and plenty of smiles.

Please celebrate safely, drive responsibly, and take a moment to appreciate the men and women who have served our country.

A Quick Note About Communication

If you’ve ever used Mitch’s Transportation Service, you know communication is one of the things we pride ourselves on. We do our best to answer calls, texts, and Facebook messages as quickly as possible, and most of the time you’ll hear back from us within minutes.

That said, there may occasionally be times when I don’t respond immediately. If that’s the case, I’m almost certainly:

• Driving a client
• Sleeping when able (believe it or not, I do sleep)
• In an area with poor cell service

My schedule is anything but normal, and most days start at 2 AM and end late at night. If you don’t hear back right away, please know your message has not been ignored. I will get back to you as soon as I safely can.

As we approach 5 years in business this November, I want to thank everyone who has trusted us with their transportation needs. Your support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Important Travel Update for Our Clients:

Spirit Airlines has officially ceased operations as of today (May 2, 2026) and all Spirit flights have been canceled.

If you currently have a ticket booked through Spirit Airlines, please do not head to the airport without checking your flight status first. At this time, travelers are being advised to make alternate arrangements and monitor their email/payment method for refund updates.

We wanted to share this information as soon as possible so none of our clients make an unnecessary trip to the airport.

We also want to say that we feel for all Spirit Airlines employees and their families affected by this sudden closure. Losing a job unexpectedly is never easy, and we sincerely wish them all the best moving forward.

Please also keep in mind that with Spirit no longer operating, this could create higher demand on other airlines, which may lead to increased ticket prices and limited availability in the coming days.

If you need reliable transportation to or from the airport while adjusting travel plans, feel free to message us anytime.

I personally handle all scheduling while also driving, so during busy times—and with my constantly changing schedule—I can get backed up.

If I don’t answer, I’m likely driving or getting some rest due to my constantly changing schedule. Texting is always the best way to reach me so everything is documented and I can respond quicker.

I do my best to respond as quickly as possible and will get back to you as soon as I can.

When texting for a ride, please include:

• Name
• Pickup address
• Date & time (round trip)
• Number of passengers
• Airport
• Preferred arrival time
• Flight info (screenshot of your itinerary is preferred)

The more info I have upfront, the faster I can get you booked 👍
