🌟Join Us in Congratulating Peter Miles🌟

In just under 3 years—2 years and 9 months to be exact—Peter Miles has made a lasting impact at Helix.

Starting in Customer Service, he quickly proved his versatility, stepping into Carrier Sales when the need arose and thriving from the start. Today, we’re excited to announce his promotion to Operations Manager.

Logistics seems to come naturally to Peter, but it’s his work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way that have truly set him apart. He’s also been instrumental in strengthening our carrier compliance efforts and is a go-to teammate for support, insight, and follow-through.

Peter’s path is a great reminder that when skill meets integrity, great things happen.
Congrats, Peter!

🚛 Carrier Spotlight: P I & I Motor Express Inc 🚛

This May, we're proud to shine the spotlight on P I & I Motor Express Inc, a family-owned carrier with 74 years of dedication to reliability, safety, and building long-lasting customer relationships! 🏆

We recently caught up with their Terminal Manager in Birmingham, Alabama, to discuss their company’s mission, operational strategies, and what truly sets them apart from the competition in the logistics industry.

Why we’re excited to work with P I & I Motor Express Inc:

🔹 Expertise in Steel Hauling: Specializing in flatbeds, step decks, and 3-axle trailers, P I & I delivers flexible solutions for heavy and oversized freight.
🔹 Family-Owned Commitment: As a family-run business, they provide a personal, hands-on approach, fostering deep relationships with every customer and partner.
🔹 Real-Time Tracking: Qualcomm systems in all trucks ensure timely deliveries, real-time location tracking, and management of hours of service for smoother operations.
🔹 24/7 Support: Their 24-hour dispatch and on-call shop team ensure quick responses to any equipment issues or road disruptions that may arise, keeping operations running smoothly.
🔹 Safety First: Their dedicated safety department ensures compliance with all necessary regulations to protect their team, equipment, and customers.

What makes them stand out? “Doing what you say you’ll do and putting customers first—that’s what makes us different,” shared their Terminal Manager. Their commitment to excellence in every step of the logistics process continues to earn them the trust of both partners and clients.

At Helix Logistics, we value the long-term relationships we’ve built with P I & I Motor Express Inc, and we’re excited to continue working alongside them for years to come. 🙌
