Among the many changes in the NITA Act are a more direct role for the regional agency in engaging with riders and new investments to improve public safety. To quickly measure the success of the initial investments made this year, RTA staff have been visiting transit stations on the Red, Blue, and Green lines as part of a comprehensive survey developed with the Chicago Transit Authority on customer experience.
