October 26, 2009, seven friends joined together to purchase a 1979 Crown Coach School Bus from Bellingham, WA and brought it back to our home in Gunnison, CO. Our Bus is a 1979 Crown, powered by a 6N-71 two stroke Detroit Diesel and backed by an Allison MT-644 4spd automatic transmission. Weighing in at just under 11 tons, we average around 12 MPG on the highway @ speeds of 60 to 65 MPH. Over the last 3 years, we have made several improvements and additions including energy saving LED's, new batteries, bed space, and kick ass stereo system that inspires dancing both inside and outside everywhere we go. We have many dreams for what we would like to do with our bus and our business, but for now we would like to offer a ride to anyone who wants to tag along on any of our many adventures or bring us along for yours.
