We sent a questionnaire on transportation issues to everyone running for mayor and city council in Chicago. Help ensure candidates in your ward respond:

1. Email the link to candidates in your ward and encourage them to complete it by the February 1 deadline.
2. Share the link with candidates on Facebook or Twitter.
3. Stop by a campaign office and bring a printed copy of the questionnaire.

Election Day for Mayor and City Council in Chicago is one month away and now is the time to get candidates on the record about the city’s most pressing transportation issues.

Curtis Tarver (Curtis Tarver II for State Representative) is running to represent Illinois' 25th House District, which includes parts of Kenwood, Hyde Park, South Shore, South Chicago and Calumet Heights. If elected Curtis will focus on transportation equity and seek to ensure that all residents have equal access so that people can connect to jobs, education and health care.

Active Trans NOW needs 25th District residents and folks nearby to show up on foot, bike, train or bus to volunteer and ensure that Curtis is elected to be a champion on bike/walk/transit issues in the next general assembly.

Delia Ramirez (Delia for State Representative) is running to represent Illinois’ 4th House District, which includes parts of Humboldt Park, West Town, Ukrainian Village, Logan Square and Wicker Park. She believes that making streets safer for people that walk, bike and take public transit will create healthy, sustainable and equitable communities.

Active Trans NOW needs 4th District residents and folks nearby to show up on foot, bike, train or bus to volunteer and ensure that Delia is elected to be our champion on active transportation issues in the next general assembly.
