There’s no shortage of great hotels in the Chicago area. It truly comes down to what you are looking for during your stay. More space? Walkable to the iconic downtown locations? Views of the river? Something different? From my personal experience, these check all those boxes.

Some of you already know, others have already taken advantage, but as I’m trying to get consistent again on here, I wanted to go ahead and official debut the new little feature of my travel planning … gig tripping.

The same curated stress free vacations… now just planned around your favorite band(s).

This is my personal favorite way to travel, and I’m excited to help more people do the same.

The eras tour sparked the popularity of this online, but concert travel has been a thing for many moons. And I’m here to help turn those tickets you fought in the Ticketmaster queue for (or maybe not) until a completely unforgettable vacation.

To the non-cruiser, river cruises are surprising.

Not because of the views or the great food (although, yes, both are unforgettable).

But because of the pace.

You’re not sprinting to catch a train. You’re not dragging luggage through cobblestones. You’re not spending an hour figuring out dinner in a town you barely know.

You’re just… in it.
Exploring during the day. Floating at night.
Having the kind of slow, real conversations you don’t usually get on fast-paced trips.

It will make you rethink your definition of "good trip"

Not just how much you check off, but how little you have to figure out on your own.
