Happy St Patrick’s Day! We had so much fun kicking off our 8th season with so many amazing passengers, on the greener than usual Chicago River on Saturday! Sound up for some Irish vibes from the ! It was great having them onboard for hopefully the first of many years to come!

We love learning about the history of our boat, but also ensuring we’re prepping her for the future and upgrading as needed.

Flashback to 6 years ago during our 1st 5 year USCG drydock inspection. Rudders definitely needed an upgrade, you can see the massive difference in the condition between old and new. We also repurposed our old rudder posts which were in good enough condition to use, for bollards to secure the boat to the dock.

This season is our Fireboat’s 90th birthday, being built in 1936, and we’re excited to celebrate with you all onboard!

Our last cruise of 2025 was one for the books! Thank you to everyone who made memories with us this season, we wish you all a healthy and happy new year!
Next year is our historic vessel’s 90th birthday and we’ve got a lot of exciting events to share with you, we’ll see you onboard in 2026!
