Remind yourself that it takes all of us — parents and drivers working together — to keep our kids SAFE.

STAY SAFE: If you have a student who will be taking the school bus, teach them the SAFE acronym:

S: Stay at least five giant steps away from the curb.
A: Always wait until the bus comes to a stop and the door opens before approaching.
F: Face forward after finding a seat to avoid distracting the bus driver.
E: Exit the bus and look left, right, and left again for vehicles and follow instructions of bus drivers before crossing the road. Make sure the bus driver can see you by staying at least 10 feet in front of the bus. If you drop something near the bus, alert the driver instead of retrieving it.

Don’t forget to arrive at the bus stop at least five minutes early!

📚🍎 The countdown to a new school year is on!

We can't wait to welcome our students and families back for the 2026–27 school year! Join us for the Cumberland School District Open House on Tuesday, August 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This is a great opportunity to meet teachers and staff, tour the school buildings, find your locker, receive your schedule, have school pictures taken, pick up your iPad, and get ready for an amazing year ahead!

Roselawn Elementary is now prepping for their Open House on Thursday, August 20st, The Open House will run from 1:30-6:30 PM. Families will receive a link to the Parent/Teacher Conference Portal that will allow them to sign up for a time to meet their teacher and see their classroom!

If you have questions, please contact the Roselawn office at 715-924-2244, and they will help assist you!

It's almost Back to School Time! For those interested, here is the recommended supply list for CWMS. There's not really a list for the high school, as most of that is based on preference and individual need, but you can also use the MS list as a reference point for high school students as well.

As a reminder, Roselawn has purchased supplies for elementary students for the 26-27 school year, so individuals and will not have to purchase any school supplies unless a student or family wants personally specific items.
