Helpers of the 2016 Chetek Fly-In....

We need a hand locating a few items that went MIA at last year's fly-in. At the time of clean-up, a big coffee maker, an extension cord and some safety cones must have gotten packed in a wrong trailer or hangar, as they haven’t been seen since.

The coffee maker is big and white in color, and belongs to the Fire Department. They sure would like it back for the upcoming pancake feed.

The extension cord is a new 50’ yellow one and the safety cones are orange and about 8” tall.

Let’s all take a look around and see if we can get these items back to the volunteers that brought them. Thanks much.

Do you want to see the Six Lakes area from the air? Come to the Chetek Airport on Sunday. You don't have to win a coloring contest, and you don't have to be a kid. Just ask, and make a charitable donation. All proceeds go to the following organizations: Chetek Area Museum, Boy Scouts Troop 29, Chetek Food Shelf, Chetek Area Volunteer Fire Department and the AmVets Post 25. $20 per seat would be a recommended donation, though exceptions can be made. See the ride coordinator the day of the event for a ride.

Get to the Chetek Fly-In early on Sunday, Aug 21st and see a five million dollar Life Link III helicopter land in front of you, then talk to the crew. Show starts at 10:30, the chopper should arrive around 11:00. We will have dozens of other aircraft coming and going all day.
