Cavalier Business Park in Chesapeake, VA. We currently occupy a new 100,000 square foot climate controlled warehouse and have already started expanding the facility by adding an additional 30,000 square feet. Our lot if fully gated and secured providing a safe location to store equipment and warehouse product. From the POV: Expanded Gate hour(s).

As the 2018 peak season progresses, the port continues to process record cargo volumes. In recognition of the increased demands placed on the supply chain, and in the interest of accessibility and efficiency, we are pleased to announce the following:

Effective Wednesday, October 10, truck gate hours at Virginia International Gateway (VIG) will be expanded as follows

Open at 0100 hours, Monday – Friday

Portal closure at 1800 hours, Monday – Thursday (1700 hours – Friday)

PRO-PASS Truck Reservation System (TRS) mandatory hours in effect from 0100 – 0800** hours, Monday – Friday

**As of October 18, TRS mandatory hours will be expanded – 0100 – 1000 hours, Monday – Friday

These expanded gate hours will remain in effect, at VIG, until further notice.

As Hurricane Florence approaches the North Carolina coast, The Port of Virginia remains vigilant, taking steps to ensure the safety of lives, infrastructure and cargo.

As of 0513 hours this morning, September 13, the National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Southeastern Virginia, including the port. Heavy rain and tropical storm force winds are anticipated during a 36-hour period from Thursday evening, September 13, through Saturday morning, September 15.

Per the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) – Fifth District Hampton Roads, the main shipping channel remains closed at the Virginia Capes. Vessels may only enter/exit the port based on exemptions granted exclusively by the USCG.

In the interest of customer service and cargo accessibility, The Port of Virginia announces the following:

· Thursday, September 13
o TRUCK GATES OPEN at all six Port of Virginia cargo terminals – observe normal/posted operating hours
§ No TRS reservations required - open hours at all terminals
§ No empty re**er movement in or out of NIT
o PPCY/RSA remain CLOSED – all empties routed to the marine terminals
§ Please consult the matrix
o PCY chassis yard – OPEN
o Port administrative offices, including the World Trade Center – OPEN

· Friday, September 14
o TRUCK GATES CLOSED at NIT, PMT, NNMT, VIG and the PPCY

o TRUCK GATES OPEN at Richmond Marine Terminal and the Virginia Inland Port (posted hours)
o Port administrative offices, including the World Trade Center – CLOSED

· Saturday, September 15
o TRUCK GATES OPEN – WEEKDAY HOURS – NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
