We’re proud to support ForKids in their mission to help local children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing team, we collected backpacks, lunch boxes , supplies, etc. to make a difference in students’ lives.

It’s that time of the year for giving again 🎁 and who doesn’t love helping make a child’s wishes come true. This is our second year partnering with ForKids and this year we’re hoping to double what we did last year! Please help us make Christmas magical for the kids right here in our community by donating toys for them. Want to help but don’t have time to shop? No problem! If you would like to make a monetary donation we will do the shopping for you.

Donations can be dropped off at our office located at 500 Barnes Road Chesapeake, VA 23324.

ICM is partnering with ForKids again and this time we are collecting school supplies for the children right here in our community. We want to make sure that all the children in our community have access to the vital school supplies to help them succeed and to have a fantastic school year! We have already started collecting items but we would love to do so much more!

If you would like to donate, you can drop off items at our office at 500 Barnes Road, Chesapeake, VA Monday Through Friday between 0700-330.

Don’t want to go through the hassle of shopping but still want to donate? No problem! You can make a monetary donation and we’ll do the shopping for you.

Today Tug Coastal Trader, Tug Maverick and truckable Mr. Julio moved Skanska USA Civil Inc 4100 crane barge (95x150) along with the 46007 barge (60x150), which held the boom of 4100 crane, from their project at Portsmouth Marine Terminal back to their yard in Chesapeake, Va.

ICM has been a River Star Business with the Elizabeth River Project for many years and this year we are honored to receive the "Achievement Level Sustained Distinguished Performance" Award. We have contributed to cleaning up the Elizabeth River by lining the shore of our "beach" on our property with oysters bed which aid in filtering and cleaning the River, using shore-to-vessel power which helps reduce emissions and conserve energy, replacing all office lighting with high-efficiency LED lights, recycling used oil and oil filters, eliminating paper plates and plastic cups onboard our vessels and switching to a computerized system which eliminates the need for excess paperwork and folders which helps save the trees! We hope to add even more this year!

This year we decided we wanted to do something to give back to our community so we partnered with ForKids, an organization located right here in South Norfolk, who provide housing, education, critical services, a crisis hotline and financial opportunities for families and individuals that are homeless in need. Our team rallied together to ensure that the children in need in our community will definitely not be going without this Christmas! Thank you to everyone at ICM who donated all these wonderful gifts and for those who provided a monetary contribution for these kids. We’re hoping to double this next year!
