This weekend is the Evans Delivery Agents meeting. I’ll be honest…I’m not 100% sure what that means except for lots of good food, good drinks and lots of laughs! Putting names with faces and celebrating how far we’ve come in our first year! I can’t wait to see what year 2 has in store for us!

WE’RE GROWING!

We are a young locally owned trucking drayage company, and we need your help. We are looking for an intermodal dispatcher / custome service rep.

If you enjoy games like Suduko, Tetris, Twister or just your run of the mill puzzle….this could be the job for you!

Some days it might feel like we’re playing all of these at the same time! It’s fun and exciting but can also be a little stressful so you’ll need to be calm under pressure with the ability to juggle several things at one time.

We’re all about having fun but also know when it’s time to get down to business.

Helping to build a culture of family, fun and positivity, an ideal candidate would also be punctual, detail oriented and outgoing with a positive attitude.

Experience with spreadsheets/google sheets is required.
Experience dispatching in/out of the ports preferred.
Experience with Propass preferred.

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Talking to drivers / customers and building a positive rapport,
Setting pickup/delivery appointments,
Keeping drivers and customers updated on moves,
Data entry,
Updating notes in our system,
Keeping multiple active Google spreadsheets updated,
Helping with the phones.

Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8a-5p with some overtime required including possible after-hours communication with drivers.

Too many companies allow people with p**s poor attitudes to ruin their culture because they’re worried they won’t find anyone else to do the job and it tears apart the morale of the entire team.

I’d rather have someone with a positive attitude who’s ready and willing to learn! There’s too much negativity in life already to spend 40+ hours per week with anyone different.
