Our Story

EAA Chapter 150, Rock City Wings, was founded in 1963 and is based at Collegedale Airport (KFGU) in Collegedale, Tennessee. Over the years, our members have completed many projects and have been particularly active in the Young Eagles Program. Like all Experimental Aircraft Association Chapters, we are an organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds. Chapter 150 members love airplanes–they fly them, they fix them, and they build them, all with a passion of sharing that love with others.

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.
