Sharing below my client’s feedback after they recently returned from Italy. This is what stress-free travel looks like. When everything is handled for you, the memories take center stage.

“Wendy, we had such a wonderful trip to Italy! We wanted to thank you for your planning. It was so nice to have everything laid out and not have to worry about tours, transportation, etc. And everything worked like clockwork. Tours were all top notch (we especially loved the golf cart tour in Rome with our guide, Sergio), the Rome hotel was amazing, and we were so thankful for the transfer assistance in Venice.

The local support team was also very responsive & helpful. We had several interactions with them about transfers due to flight delays and an event in Venice that closed the canals on our departure date and they handled everything without us having to worry about it. When we arrived at our Venice hotel, the A/C was broken. We contacted Avanti about other options. They contacted the hotel to get their resolution plan and worked on a Plan B for us in case it took longer than expected. We ended up very much enjoying that hotel as well - especially the small terrace by the water door where we spent a lot of time watching the boats go by. It was magical!

It keeps showing up at the top of Caribbean rankings. Most people have never heard of it.

Hermitage Bay has landed on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List and Travel + Leisure's World's Best Hotels list more than once, and it's not hard to understand why. Thirty suites maximum, adults only (16+), and every single one faces the ocean.

Private plunge pools, daily changing menus built around produce from the resort's own garden, a Tree Bar literally constructed around the trunk of a tree, and a clear-bottomed kayak you can take out any time are included in the rate.

The day trip to Barbuda for lunch at Nobu on Princess Diana Beach is one of the best advisor recommendations I make anywhere in the Caribbean.

Antigua also delivers well beyond the resort. English Harbor, 365 beaches, and some of the best sailing culture in the Eastern Caribbean are all worth building time around.

Truffle hunting with trained dogs in the morning. Twenty-seven holes through Tuscan vineyards in the afternoon. Tableside tiramisù at dinner inside a medieval castle. That's a Tuesday at Castelfalfi.

It covers everything Tuscany does well in one place. Five restaurants, including La Rocca inside the original castle. A RAKxa spa with both indoor and outdoor pools. Falconry experiences, a cooking class with the executive chef, and a beekeeping session with the resident beekeeper that ends with a honey tasting.

The estate produces its own wine, olive oil, and wildflower honey, all available to taste and take home. San Gimignano is 30 minutes away, and Volterra is 35, so it works well as a base for the wider region too.

Cool-cations are officially trending right now, but I've been recommending them for years.

More travelers are planning their peak season trips around comfort and experience rather than just the calendar. The result? Norway's fjord country is most accessible in summer, and the quality of light at that latitude is something clients consistently say they weren't prepared for. Photographers plan entire trips around it.

Iceland in summer is genuinely extraordinary. Long days, dramatic landscapes, and none of the overcrowding that defines peak season in southern Europe.

Vancouver Island in British Columbia is one of the most underrated summer destinations in North America. Old-growth forests, incredible wildlife, world-class kayaking, and a coastal pace that is hard to find anywhere else.
