Today we had the honor of helping someone recover more than just lost items β we helped restore a cherished piece of family history.
We received a call from a woman who had jumped into the river the day before, only to have her ring slip off her finger. In the process, she also lost her phone. Despite the riverβs strong current following recent rainfall, we met with her and learned the true significance of the ring β it had belonged to her great-grandmother and had survived the Holocaust. It was more than jewelry; it was a legacy.
After a focused 30-minute search, we were able to recover both the ring and the phone. Watching her break into happy tears as she held the ring in her hands again was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
Not everything that goes down is lost. Sometimes, it just needs a little help finding its way back.
β Bringing peace of mind, one dive at a time.
